High Ductility Cementitious Composites

Engineered Cementitious Composite (abbreviated as ECC) is a new type of fiber-reinforced cementitious composite developed based on micro-mechanism design theory. This product is compounded with well-graded cement, quartz sand, admixtures and high-performance polymer fibers (PVA fibers) with special surface treatment. Compared with traditional mortar or concrete, ECC mortar exhibits remarkable strain-hardening performance and multiple micro-cracking behavior under tensile and flexural loads. Its ultimate tensile strain can exceed 3%, far higher than ordinary concrete, and it boasts ductility similar to metal, hence it is known as "bendable cement".

Simply mix with water at the specified ratio before use. Easy construction with excellent performance for demanding applications.
